All standard "Snap-On" Little Beaver augers are equiped with hardened, replaceable points and side mounted cutting blades.  These components do the actual cutting as the auger rotates, thus protecting the auger which guards against excessive wear.  To insure maximum digging efficiency and auger life, the point and blade should be replaced when they become dull. 

Drill Includes Replaceable Cutting Blade and Bolt-On Power Point. No Assembly Required
