Installation and Application Notes
The Fisher 99-903P is designed for high-pressure LP gas regulation and may be used in first-stage, intermediate-stage, or other appropriately engineered pressure-reduction applications.
Capacity Note: The published capacity of 44,275,000 BTU/hr is based on an inlet pressure 20 PSI above the outlet pressure setting and 20% pressure droop. Actual regulator capacity depends on inlet pressure, outlet pressure, gas characteristics, and system operating conditions.
Overpressure Protection: This regulator does not incorporate an internal relief valve. Appropriate external overpressure protection or pressure-limiting devices must be provided as required by the application and applicable codes.
Important: The regulator's 10–65 PSI outlet pressure range is intended for high-pressure gas distribution. It is not a direct replacement for low-pressure appliance regulators operating at inches of water column.
Regulator sizing, selection, installation, adjustment, and servicing should be performed by qualified LP gas professionals in accordance with Fisher installation instructions, NFPA 58, and applicable local regulations.
